There’s been bad news and good at BoT Sheffield this week. The bad? The course we had booked in and ready to rock at Manor from 1 October is off.
It turns out we were double booked and, while the other book-ee was keen to compromise, the venue wasn’t… so that was that!
Picture is related: my face, after spending a day calling every likely venue I could find in south-east Sheffield, to no avail.
There is hope yet, though, for an October course. Another food-related charity has been in touch and is keen to host us. We’re just waiting on confirmation; you’ll know as soon as we get it because I’ll be shouting it joyously from a rooftop.
We also welcomed some new volunteers into the fold this week, and we’re very happy to have them. Welcome!
The Beeb has been good to us too. I’m recording for Kat’s Kitchen tomorrow morning and potentially the Saturday social. So tune in!
